Basically… we do NOT do hand outs. Those who contribute, reap what they sow. Otherwise, we have about 10% to offer as hand ups… but no hand outs.

Some may not be able to contribute ffinancially and/or with strong labor. But everyone has something to offer; everyone has gifts, talents & abilities.  We dont expect 110% we just expect a fare share. Meet us half way?!. (:

The 10% +, meaning our tithes and offerings; is for those in need, the less fortunate, the widows and orphans, the downtrodden. But unlike Almighty Uncle Sam, we dont think people should be dependent on government; or too dependent on others. That’s why we dont do hand outs, only hand ups and/or loans.

Offerings are just that, loans are to be paid back. If we give an offering for a hand up and you do not apply it to what you say you would be applying it too, it becomes a loan. We will expect that you do right by your word. Example: one woman borrowed money to get car insurance because her new job required it. We gave her the offering, but she never got the insurance. She misappropriated the funds, and never took the job. Therefore it should be paid back.

Again, one of our missions is to help people learn to be independent and self sufficient. Not dependent on or slaves to government, the system or any person.

We also had a situation where two people do not agree on how a project should be done. I analyzed both angles and decided to go with the one. My mother also agree. But since I went with the ones idea, the other person decided they were not going to work on the project anymore. This is unacceptable! If you cannot be a team player, we will find someone who is.

What people tend to forget is this is technically my land and ultimately I make the rules. I like to believe that I am fair and that I am a team player. At least I try to be.

As the president of the project, I listen to or try to listen to everyone’s point of views and opinions. But ultimately; though I am very flexible, I make the final decisions. If it’s going to be your way or the highway, then you need to go find your own land and start your own project.
