Trust Means business

I remember a few years back when I was doing real estate; my friend and realtor had on his business card, “Trust Means Business”. He had all the makings of an honest person. He grew up in a Nigerian Seminary; became a minister, then went on to be a doctor, before becoming a realtor. He seemed very much like someone who was saying successful and honest businessman and friend. A couple years later I found out it was all an act. Needless to say we no longer are friends and no longer do business together. I think it went on to be a lawyer, which would totally be the perfect field for him.

Liars and cheaters is what brought me to Cedar County in the first place . My last wife ended up cheating on me and so I basically move down here because I got in business with a friend of a friend who ended up becoming a liar and a cheat himself.

Integrity is very important to me! But apparently not to most people. I know I’m weird and eclectic. When we first moved to Stockton our neighbor Glen thought we were a couple of bag of balm. He later warmed up to us. I’ll miss him.

It turns out two out of three of our neighbors do not have integrity. Both of lied to me when it comes to the fence line. One agreed to what I wanted to do and then did another behind my back. And the other said he would help me pay for the fencing and then lied and said nobody had any in stock. Why can’t people just be honest?
