Digging up the past, chapter one

Dear David Ray Judass Harriott,

We have been friends for a long time; or I thought you were my friend, and I thought I knew you… but you are the great pretender.

I’ve been doing some digging; and now, I’m begining to know and understand who you truly are… and what you are hiding from. I know about your past, I know about your childhood, and I know about your father.

Otherwise, I can and I will crucify you. Let it be written, let it be done. You will speak no more evil of me, and do no more evil to me; and I will not bring justice upon you.

Call it blackmail, call it a peace treaty, call it what you will. You were my friend, you are my friend no more; but we can pretend. You are good at that, you are the great pretender, the best pretender I have known.

Just go away, go in peace, and I will give you peace in return.

As an insurance policy; only two others know what I know, one from one of our communities, and one from another… and I will be stashing the evidence. We have chosen the path of mercy, providing you do the same.

Never mistake meekness for weakness… CainO’
